The Red Door Inn Introduces Our Very Own Custom Coffee Blend

The Red Door Inn coffee blend is a fusion of the dominant rich, chocolaty tones found in a dark American bean with a compliment of light citrus and fruity notes of an East African bean. The result is a rich, mellow, low acid cup of coffee — the perfect compliment to our Culinary Institute grads’ innovative breakfasts.

To create the Red Door Inn coffee blend, the Inn’s owners went though a process of coffee “cupping” (a coffee tasting technique used to evaluate coffee aroma and the flavor profile of a coffee – for more info on cupping: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee_cupping) and then three subsequent tastings to arrive at the perfect blend for the Inn.
